What to Bring

Seabeck is a full-service center, with bedding and towels provided for each room. You may wish to bring extra towels for water activities, and toiletries, sanitizers, and hair dryers.

Other items you may wish to have for your room include:

  • Fan (no a/c in most buildings)
  • Flashlights/headlamps
  • Journal for writing notes
  • Prayer books and reading materials
  • Camp chairs for lounging

We request that you leave electronic games and remote controlled toys at home, to maintain a spiritual environment free of distractions for all.

Please complete the waiver below and bring with you to school at check-in. If you are the sponsor of a minor, please complete that form as well.

Food and drink

All meals are included, and special meal requests can be requested at registration. Morning snacks are provided for children's classes, and coffee/tea service for the adult classes. 

You may wish to bring special meals/snacks that cannot be accommodated by the kitchen. Fridges are available in Pines for these items. A water bottle and reuseable mug are handy.

How to dress

Modest clothing is requested to adhere to the high standards of our blessed Faith (no cami's, muscle shirts, bikinis, crop or half-shirts, or short shorts. Nights can get cold, and you may wish to bring warm dry gear if rain is forecasted. 

With luck we hope for sunny warm weather! Sunscreen and bug spray are advised, as well as hats and other sun block clothing.

Recreation

Running/hiking shoes are advised for daily use on campus. Sports courts and fields are available for soccer, frisbee, football, basketball and tennis, you may wish to bring balls/equipment for these.

Water sports include the giant slip-n-slide, boating in the lagoon, and a swim dock. Water shoes with a sturdy sole and protective wrap required as the beach and lagoon are rocky, and have sharp shells. Bring beach towels for water sports as Seabeck only provides bath towels for the room.

Music

Music is a core part of the school, including morning and evening devotions, the late night open mic program, and bonfires. Please bring instruments/music that you would like to share.
