When is check-in?

Session 1: check-in opens at 4:30pm on Saturday, June 27th, program begins with dinner at 6pm. Guests must depart campus by 1pm on Wednesday July 1st.

Session 2: check-in opens at 4:30 pm on Wednesday, July 1st, program begins with dinner at 6pm. Guests must depart campus by 1pm on Sunday July 5th.

Check-in closes at 6 PM. If you arrive after that, look for our registrar at dinner, or during the evening program at the Meeting Hall. If you need a late check-in, please contact our registrar at: mailto:OceanOfLight@nwbahais.org

Can I arrive early?

Seabeck cannot allow our group on campus until after 4pm, to prepare following the previous group. If you arrive early, please wait at the side of the road until Seabeck opens. There is a coffee shop, pizzeria, and general store across the street from camp. There is also Scenic Beach State Park about 2 miles down the road, with beach access, a playground, and hiking options. 

Can I stay off-campus and commute to school each day?

Yes, participants may stay off campus and commute daily. Commuters are still considered full-time participants and pay the commuter rate (please see registration for further details). 

How can I get financial assistance to attend? 

There are reduced rate lodging options, sponsorships from LSAs and scholarships from the School available. Please see the Registration page for the rates, and use the contact form to request scholarship.

Can I get a refund if I have to cancel?

Cancellation and Refund Policy

Full refund if canceled before May 1st

50% refund if canceled by June 1st 

No refund after June 1st

Can children attend by themselves?

Sponsorship for Youth Under 18 - Children/youth under 18 attending without a parent must have a sponsor. Sponsors must be 21 or older and the same gender as those they sponsor. The parent or legal guardian must provide a signed Sponsorship Form. Sponsors and children must be housed together during the school. Exceptions: Grandparents, aunts, or uncles may sponsor related children of either gender.

Children with special needs

If a child receives any special services at his/her school such as one-on-one support, pull out support, alternative learning environments, etc. – it would be the responsibility of the parent or sponsor to provide similar support at the summer school.

Special Dietary Needs

The kitchen is able to accommodate most dietary needs, please identify these for each attendee during registration. Participants with special meal requests will be issued a card at check-in, please present this to a server at mealtime to get a meal specifically made for you.

Can I attend part-time? 

The summer school is unable to accommodate part-time registrations.

Can I invite guests to visit?

No, the school is closed campus, and only registered attendees are allowed. Any visitors that wish to come must first obtain approval from the Committee and be registered. Any guests approved must pay the day use and meal fees, and sign the liability and release waivers.
